Dear Friends,
This is outrageous:
A woman's advocacy for medical marijuana for her son, who suffers from a rare form of pediatric epilepsy, results in an investigation by the Child Protective Services.
Renee Petro's advocacy on behalf of her son resulted in CPS agents arriving at her home - where an investigator then isolated and interrogated her 9 year old daughter, and terrified the whole family.
They found zero evidence of Petro providing marijuana to her son  - because she didn't.  She simply advocated for the right to do so.
This is exactly why we need to pass Amendment 2 - and why we need your support to get word out about stories like Renee's and her family's.
Every donation is matched by a generous campaign supporter, who wants to get more people involved in our outreach.
This story is sickening, but it's unfortunately not the only one.  Across the state, there are people feel persecuted simply for wanting to give their loved ones the best care available.
We must stand with the Petro family and all suffering Floridians' families - and we must pass Amendment 2 in November so parents, friends, and especially patients don't have to live like criminals.

Isn’t there something John Morgan could do about this or is the CPS above litigation? Couldn’t they have refused to let the agent into their home? What is this…Hitler’s Germany?? Finally, if I had a young child in that much need somehow someway you HAVE to pack it up and move to Colorado!! In the words of the late Bill Hicks…“All governments are liars and murderers”.
